La presentazione tratterà il ruolo delle attività di R&D relative all'Electronic Design Automation all'interno della realta' industriale. Cercherà di spiegare come l'attività si e' evoluta negli anni a fronte dei cambiamenti tecnologici e quali sono le prospettive. In particolare si spieghera' in che modo le attività di R&D industriali si collegano alle attività di ricerca universitarie.
